About Trees For Life

Trees For Life Incorporated is a community of people working to revegetate South Australia and conserve its remnant vegetation. We have 10,000 members including around 3,000 volunteers. Our focus is on achieving effective on ground results and we are always ready to welcome new participants. Our History

We began in 1981 when Lolo Houbein and Burr Dodd gathered some friends to coordinate a visit to South Australia by Richard St. Barbe Baker. Read more

Trees For Life is an Incorporated Association run by a Board of Management.  David Mitchell is the current President. In 2013 David was awarded an OAM, pictured accepting the award from Governor Kevin Scarce. Read more
