White Hut A - Southern Yorke Peninsula

This property is 34 hectares and lies on the west coast of the foot of Yorke Peninsula near Formby Bay. It is situated behind a series of large sand dunes that run along the coast. The area has fragmented patches of remnant bush and 10 hectares of this property, along with one adjacent will be revegetated adding to the habitat of the region.

Site details

The area under revegetation lies immediately behind a dunal system running north-south along the coast. The dominant species present include Acacia longifolia sophorae, Acacia nematophylla, Allocasuarina verticillata, Bursaria spinosa, Eucalyptus diversifolia and Melaleuca lanceolata
