We are finalists in the 2008 Banksia Awards

Trees For Life is proud to announce that it has been chosen as finalist of the 2008 Banksia Environmental Awards in the Community Award category for “Leadership, Commitment and Excellence in Protecting and Enhancing the Australian Environment”.
Since their inception in 1989, the Banksia Environmental Awards have earned the reputation as the most prestigious environmental awards in Australia. The awards acknowledge excellence, dedication and leadership in various areas that contribute to the environment and a sustainable future.
As a finalist, we are amongst a select few who have shown through our submission that we embody what the awards represent.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in the organisation; volunteers, members, donors, sponsors and staff, for their hard work and dedication, which has resulted in this public acknowledgement.
Winners will be announced on 18th July 2007 at the Banksia Environmental Awards Presentation.
It is a great achievement of which we should all be proud.
