2008 Banksia Awards
Trees For Life was the only South Australian representative in the prestigious 2008 Banksia Awards and is a finalist in the Community Award category, titled “Leadership, Commitment and Excellence in Protecting and Enhancing the Australian Environment".
Since their inception in 1989, the Banksia Environmental Awards have earned the reputation as the most prestigious environmental awards in Australia. The awards acknowledge excellence, dedication and leadership in various areas that contribute to the environment and a sustainable future .
As a finalist, Trees For Life was amongst a select few who have shown through our submission that we embody what the awards represent.

SA LANDCARE AWARDS
Trees For Life was awarded Second Place in the Nature Conservation category for the Bush For Life Program. Mark Ellis accepted the award on behalf of TFL and the team, which was presented by Minister Gail Gago.
