Caramel established our current website, and have now moved into IT support services.
They have undertaken an extensive audit of the TFL network and systems. This is an important step to increase utilisation of technology within Trees For Life. It will focus on areas such as improved efficiency, power savings, risk assessment, growth planning and better communications.
As part of the partnership Caramel will also provide regular advice and planning sessions for Trees For Life and pro-active monitoring of the entire network.
Caramel director Samuel Gilbert is passionate about the environment and expresses his disappointed that trees are often the first casualties in business developments involving land.
“About 46% of the Earth’s forests are gone. It distresses me that we can change our landscape so readily without a clear understanding of the consequences – it’s not something I personally want to gamble with,” says Samuel.
“I know firsthand how technology can increase the output of an organisation. Helping Trees For Life find further efficiencies seems a logical way to help repair the environment.”
