The TFL Works team provides professional on-ground works preserving native vegetation along roadsides. Our team is trained and licensed in Work Zone Traffic Management and work in a safe and efficient manner. Services include: program establishment, maintenance, data recording and reporting of Roadside Marker Systems.
We can manage your bushland site which may include seasonal bushcare work such as herbaceous and grassy weed control, brushcutting, revegetation, monitoring and reporting. Mapping and a professional work plan are offered to ensure a strategic approach for the future of your site. Our trained and qualified team uses minimal disturbance techniques to minimise harm to our native bushland and maximise natural processes and system responses, facilitating native plant regeneration with minimal impact on the existing environment.
Is your native vegetation threatened by fire management regulations and legislation? We can provide sensitive biomass reduction in the form of brush cutting annual grasses and herbaceous weeds, especially near existing dwellings. We help reduce the fuel load while minimising the impact on the existing vegetation. All works are compliant with Native Vegetation Act principles.
By using minimal disturbance methods to control woody weeds, we reduce the reliance on harsh chemicals, in many cases leaving the ‘skeleton’ standing to create habitat for native fauna. The TFL Works team can provide GPS mapping of weeds and ongoing progress updates of the work undertaken.
We provide revegetation services for native vegetation, creating buffer zones to protect remnant vegetation from weed infestation, promote species diversity and create wildlife links and corridors. Assistance is also available to landholders requiring tubestock planting.
Trees For Life maintains an extensive Seedbank across 42 provenance zones. Our services include plant identification, seed collection, cleaning and packaging of seed from your nominated sites.
Our nursery grows summer, autumn and winter germinating species to order using local provenance seed suitable for your project or from seed provided by you. Call us to discuss your bulk order.
Our direct seeding services are offered in numerous regions throughout the State such as the Adelaide Hills, Mallee and Fleurieu, and include site preparation and seed collection. We are specialists in dry land direct seeding.
All TFL Works staff have experience in working with volunteers and community projects. Our professional team can help community bushcare and revegetation projects with site preparation, maintenance and other specialist tasks that may require licensing.
