Grow What Where?

Trees For Life has determined over 40 species zones within the state.

Each zone has a list of specific species that are native to that area. Simply request the species list for your zone and make your selection from the list. You can order up to 500 seedlings (which can be grown by a volunteer) or order the materials to raise up to 1000 seedlings yourself.

The species list indicates the shape, height, recommended soil type, rainfall and the ideal uses (ie. wind break, screen, fodder, shelter etc.)

Click on the species list below to see examples for the Adelaide South, Adelaide Hills zone and Adelaide Plains zone.
