Not much of the original bushland close to our cities and towns survived early land clearance. The parcels that did survive are isolated and prone to damage from weed infestation and disease.
Because these remnants provide the last bits of habitat for our unique native flora and fauna and are a store house for the seeds that will ensure the survival of our amazing plant species they are worth protecting for our children and theirs.
Our Bush For Life volunteers are trained to care for and help conserve bush sites that have significant vegetation so that a rich biodiversity of plants and animals is preserved.
